LeadSights

WELCOME TO LEADSIGHTS! LeadSights is a new genre of writing devoted exclusively to recording new insights (LeadSights) on leadership. I've dedicated an entire website to this concept: leadsights.org. This resource will be different from the new genre shared here. The website will serve more as a textbook. The genre here, however, is quite special. Commonly, genre conventions are first dictated implicitly. This genre's conventions, however, are first dictated explicitly. There are ten rules people must follow for their writing to actually be a LeadSights:

Ensure all content is on leadership.
Be original!
Have a paragraph per idea.
Think "formal prose style."
Use all third person.
Proofread. Proofread. Proofread.
Have zero trivia.
Do not have links.
Include only original pictures.
Include only original drawings / sketches.

NOT A LOUD STORM! Too often, people confuse loudness with leadership. A leader could just as easily lead without being bombast. A leader can often lead, for instance, with example alone. Many leaders are able to inspire others to be better people because of the actions they've taken, not because of the words they've used. The picture above is an attempt to suggest strongly the message of leading without shouting.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? Many people will face, or have faced this question. It can be an annoying question to have to address. It can be annoying because, often, it reminds people of a shortcoming in their life. This question forces a person to be honest about the hobbies in their lives that are not wholly fulfilling. The solution is to risk everything to do the thing that is truly engaging. Often the risk is fear of being criticized. Many live with the fear that doing the thing they love will subject them to scrutiny. Those who risk nothing, gain nothing.

FRONTING THE CHALLENGE OF FINDING ONE'S IDEAL HEALTH AND EXERCISE ROUTINE: Everyone is unique and requires a different plan for health and fitness. No one diet fits everyone. That said, there is a diet that one should consider trying: Intermittent23. This diet is a form of fasting in which someone only eats supper. At the least, this diet can teach other people about the benefits of fasting on occasion.
